About Friends…

Friends of Clifton Park Open Space is a non-profit 501C3, tax-exempt organization dedicated to education about open space issues and values within the Town of Clifton Park, New York.

Settled along the northern border of the Mohawk River in Saratoga county, the Town of Clifton Park is one of the largest municipalities in the county and home to working farms, prosperous businesses, and suburban housing of many kinds.  It is covered with scenic vistas, woodlands and and cultural treasures of all sorts.

We feel it is important to balance the needs of economic vitality with the virtues of undeveloped open spaces along with all types of passive and active recreational areas.  These components combine to create a great places to live, work and play in Clifton Park, New York.
